Research Abstract

Light cured dental resin composites were cured by utilizing free radicals. However, the radical sometimes alter intracellular metabolism and shows toxic effect. In the present study, the possibility of colloidal platinum nanoparticles, which have an ability to scavenge free radicals, to decrease cellular stress during curing light cured resin composites was investigated.
