Research Abstract |
Peirodotal ligament (PDL) maintains unmineralized status to exert its functions; however, the molecular mechanisms are unknown. In this study, we focused on Ten-m/Odz3 to clarify molecular mechanism upon PDL homeostasis. As a result, Ten-m/Odz3 expression was shown in PDL. Moreover, the expression pattern was changed by mechanical stress. These findings suggest that Ten-m/Odz3 possibly regulates cellularevents in PDL.
