Research Abstract |
1) Drowsiness, discomfort and low arousal level were estimated based on heart rate variability and respiratory time series. 2) The relationship between blood oxygen saturation level and arousal level was examined. 3) The blood oxygen saturation level was increased by the vibration stimulus synchronized with heart rate. The stimulus has the effect of improving the arousal level. The vibration stimulus has the effect to concentrate on work without stress. 4) The prototype of automotive seat with drowsy driving preventing function was designed. Low arousal level is estimated from ECG and respiration, which are measured by the embedded sensor in the seat, and optimal arousal level is maintained by the vibration stimulus synchronized with heart rate.
