Research Abstract |
We have developed an analytical method of hydrogen isotope ration of small amount of water contained in rocks. For the complete reduction of water without isotopic fractionation, specific zinc regents should be used and water vapor pressure should be optimized. This suggests that continuous zinc evaporation breaking oxide tunic is essential.
