| Research Abstract |
The pharmacokinetics of synthetic collagen-like triple-helical peptides in mice and rats were investigated. The peptides were found to be stable in the bloodstream and efficiently excreted in urine as the intact forms. The triple-helical peptides were shown to have a potential to be utilized as novel-type drug carriers.
