| Research Abstract |
We performed a randomized controlled trial to clarify the clinical efficacy and safety of thromboprophylactic-transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation(TpTENS). Intermittent TpTENS during total knee arthroplasty provided significant thromboprophylactic effect without complications. We also developed a small, convenient trial stimulator acceptable for clinical use.
