Research Abstract |
The development of narcotic pro-drugs has been tried intensively. However, we have not yet succeeded to produce the pro-drugs. Because the combination between substrate protein and narcotics could not be matched well, the pro-drugs would not been produced. IT administration of esmolol and minocycline resulted in antinociceptive effects of short duration in a postoperative pain rat model. Moreover, induction of the gene for pain modulating factor, GDNF revealed antinociceptive effects.
