Research Abstract |
To improve the lipid productivity in microalga with genetic engineering, a genetic transformation system was established for Pseudochoricystis ellipsoidea. Analyses of transcriptome and proteome revealed candidate genes for the lipid production. Based on the technique and information, I tried to obtain transformants in which each candidate gene is constitutively expressed in the cells.
