Research Abstract

Radius of gyration can be estimated only for molecules or particles with sizes larger than 10~ 20nm using widely used light scattering instruments, although the characterization of nano-sized particles and polymers is quite essential both for fundamental science and application. We developed SEC-SAXS(Size Exclusion Chromatography coupled with Small Angle X-ray Scattering) using a flow cell, and investigate dilute solution properties of water soluble polymers.
