Research Abstract

Can-do Statements for project based English classrooms at thetertiary level were created, focusing upon debate. The abilities deemed necessary for debate include information literacy, research skills, critical thinking, and argumentation skills. The Can-do Statements here incorporate the skills and disposition essential for critical thinking. It is suggested that the statements in the above categories should be tailored to each classroom setting.
