Research Abstract |
This research explored how theoretical and empirical analyses of antitrust economics interact within personal reasoning process to form different legal conclusions. As we perceive the information as obvious, we rely less on underlying theories to understand the information. Recent quantitative techniques of antitrust turn one's eye away from how good or poor are the current legal standards. Updating antitrust rules is urgent for those areas where conventional wisdom has much influence on their current status.
