| Research Abstract |
本研究は世界経済危機が南アジアにおける人間の安全保障と国際関係にもたらしうる影響について考察することが目的であった。研究は南アジア(インド、タイ、スリランカ)を中心におこない、研究結果は国際学会や、招待講演等で発表した。さらに研究の成果はReligion,Identity and Human Securityというタイトルの著書で来年度出版するための契約をRoutledge出版社と結んだ。('Identity-Politics in the Global Age'という章はすでにAnthony ELLIOT編集によるThe Routledge Handbook of Identity Studiesの本のなかで出版済み)
本年度の研究では主に理論的研究を中心としていたため、人間の安全保障に関する資料収集(資料収集はインド、タイのバンコクにあるoffice of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights(UNHCR)スリランカにて中心に行った)や研究会等によりまとめた研究の成果をインドのO.P.Jindall Global Universityの招待講演とUSA、サンディエゴで行われた国際学学会(ISA)のグローバル開発のセクションworking groupで発表しさらに、コーディネイトした。
また本研究について招待講演にてUKの著名な国際政治の学部である、Department of International Politics,University of AberystwythとDepartment of International Relations,London School of Economics and Political Scienceで発表した。
