Research Abstract

This study extends the informational basis of social states and explores how to evaluate economic policies. Social judgments in traditional welfare economics are based on utility information and ignore the relevance of non-utility information. This study proposes new evaluation methods that take into account the intrinsic value of opportunity sets and decision-making procedures.
