Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to investigate antecedents of mentoring relationships. In particular, in this study, we focus on organizational factors and individual factors of mentoring relationships, and examine the analyses and results derived from quantitative surveys that were conducted using questionnaires.The survey results show that individual factors were not the only factors encouraging mentoring within the organization. Further, it was possible to encourage mentoring at the workplace and in the organization through organizational factors rather than systems.
