Research Abstract |
The aim of this study was to develop a suicide prevention training program for social workers and examine its effectiveness. It was found that suicide education should incorporate programs directed at altering permissive attitudes toward suicide. A qualitative study contributed to construct a practice model for social workers to intervene with suicidal clients. Finally, an educational program was developed, and the training program had high feasibility.
