Research Abstract |
This research finds the changes in local politics of education and intergovernmental relations for education policy. The main findings are as follows: (a) Education mayor takes control of education policy in local government. (b) Local assembly members have become more active in education policy process. (c) Local governments depend on central government for financial resources so that localgovernments can be able to carry out educational reform without expending additional budget.
