Research Abstract |
We investigated laser electron acceleration induced by longitudinal electric fields without using a plasma wave. We have developed axially symmetric polarizing plates with large aperture, high power laser systems and quasi-phase matching by using multifocal phase plates. As a result, we confirmed the effectiveness of longitudinal electric fields.
