Research Abstract

An annulated dinuclear palladium(II) phthalocyanine complex(1) and water soluble zinc(II) phthalocyanine complexes were synthesized and characterized. It was found that these complexes worked as a photo-catalyst under the irradiation of the light in the near-infrared(NIR) region(λ> 780 nm) in toluene and water, respectively.
