Research Abstract |
Welding fume is very small particles with size of nanometer or micrometer nucleated of metal vapor from welding wire and weld pool in arc welding. This study clarified influence of metal vapor pressure, metal vapor composition, shielding gas reactivity, cooling rate on welding fume formation process through experiment and numerical simulation in order to develop technique for controlling welding fume shape.
