Research Abstract

貴金属及びレアメタル元素の濃集をもたらす地殻内の物質循環メカニズム解明のため、ロシア・カムチャツカ半島、叉、国内・鹿児島県において金属鉱床の調査を行った。カムチャツカ半島の中央部の鉱床区では、今回の調査で得られた試料及び既存の岩石試料を用いて室内実験を行った。現在、鉱山開発が行われているAginskoe鉱床の鉱脈について、熱水角礫化作用を含む4段階の鉱化段階を区分し、自然金、カラベラス鉱、ヘッス鉱、アルタイトなどの金-銀-テルル鉱物、また、その他の硫化鉱物を確認した。また、流体包有物の均質化温度の測定を行い同鉱床の2鉱体について生成温度の推定を行った。現在、探鉱が行われているBaranjevskoe鉱床では、高金品位部の地表露頭において数ミリに成長した自然金が多量に観察され、鉱化溶液の物理化学条件を明らかにする鍵となる可能性がある。同じく探鉱が行われているOganchinskoe鉱床では、地表露頭及び試錐コアの石英脈を観察、試料採取し、胚胎母岩及び鉱脈の切り合い関係を記載した。また、花崗岩類の帯磁率測定を行い、磁鉄鉱系列に特有の高い帯磁率を示すデータが得られた。この他、鹿児島県の菱刈鉱山において2回の坑内調査を行い、超高金品位の石英脈の成長縞に沿った鉱物記載、化学組成分析、酸素同位体分析を行った。また、いくつかの鉱脈群の脈中に産する粘土鉱物の同定、特にスメクタイトのキャラクタリゼーションを行った。さらに同県の枕崎地域の栗ヶ野海岸の鉱徴地で変質帯マッピング調査、鹿籠鉱床の鉱脈露頭の調査を行い、室内実験として、粘土鉱物の同定、各種同位体分析、Ar-Ar年代分析を行った。本研究に関わる研究成果の一部を資源地質学会、叉、海外学会(ロンドン)で発表した。
