地殻内流体による貴金属及びレアメタル元素の濃集メカニズム

Research Abstract

貴金属及びレアメタル元素の濃集をもたらす地殻内の物質循環メカニズム解明のため、国内・鹿児島県、東南～中央アジア地域において金属鉱床の調査を行った。また、前年度までに試料を採取したロシア・カムチャツカ半島の岩石・鉱石試料等を用いた室内実験を並行して行った。鹿児島県における金鉱山及び金鉱徴地(赤石鉱山、栗ヶ野鉱徴地、花籠・黒仁田・河内山鉱床)の現地調査を行い、採取した試料について、顕微鏡観察、流体包有物分析、酸素-水素-硫黄の安定同位体分析、Ar一Ar年代分析を実施した。従来の鉱床記載をアップデートし、高硫化型・低硫化型鉱化作用の時空間的な関係の解明と鉱床を形成した熱水流体の特性を明らかにする解析が進行中である。カムチャツカ半島のOganchinskoe探鉱地域の鉱石試料について、鉱脈の形成順序の記載、脈石及び鉱石鉱物の安定同位体分析を行った。同位体分析の結果は、周辺の鉱床地域と一部異なる傾向を示すことから、鉱床形成条件の検討を含む詳細な解析が必要である。また、関連する研究プロジェクトとして、タイ中部、Chatree鉱山の周辺部に位置する探鉱地域において、試錐および地表露頭の観察と試料採取を行った。Singto鉱徴地では試錐コアの観察分析から熱水変質の累帯分布の把握、また、地表から採取した試料と試錐コアを用いて、帯磁率測定、及び、鉱石鉱物・脈石鉱物の共生関係の記載を行った。N鉱徴地の試錐コア観察からは、これまでに報告がない斑岩銅-モリブデン鉱化作用が確認され、Chatree鉱床の全体に対する成因的な位置付けを考察中である。このほか関連する研究として、北海道の熱水変質岩、ソロモン諸島の金鉱化作用に関わる研究も本研究課題の一環として位置づけられる。これまでの研究成果の一部について、カムチャツカ半島の金属資源ポテンシャルに関わる内容を含めて、国内学会や国際シンポジウムで発表を行った。

Reason

全ての計画した研究対象地域の現地調査を行った。また、指導する学生の卒業論文研究と関連づけた実施体制の下、採取した岩石・鉱石試料の岩石学・鉱床学的記載および室内実験を計画通りに行った。研究目的である「地殻内の物質循環メカニズムの総合的な理解」のためのデータ蓄積が順調に進みつつある。

現在、順調に研究が行われているため、引き続き、同様の研究実施体制で研究課題を推進する。
