Research Abstract |
Deuterium retention properties and microstructural changes in plasma facing materials (PFMs) are systematically investigated due to mixed species D and He ions irradiation. In addition, the correlation between these surface characteristic changes and optical reflectivity is evaluated. The optical reflectivity measurement is proposed as a convenient in-situ diagnostic method to detect a real-timePFMs conditions.
