Research Abstract

Spread of invasive species to new areas and re-invasion of previously invaded patches contribute substantially to management and damage costs across a landscape. In order to slow spread or minimize management or damage costs at a landscape scale it is crucial to understand how populations of the invasive are connected via dispersal. I developed mathematical models to derive optimal allocation of management efforts in a meta-population with uncertain connectivity
