Research Abstract |
Nitrogen-fixing bacteria have been isolated from Papua people. These bacteria have been characterized by using biochemical tests, hydrogen generation, and growth in nitrogen-free media. In addition, these bacteria grow at 37 degree in nitrogen-free media under anaerobic conditions.
