Research Abstract |
Brevicin 174A is classified into the class IIb bacteriocin, and is composed of two peptides, named brevicin 174A-βand 174A-γ. In the present study, the presumed target protein for brevicin 174A was found in the membrane fraction from brevicin 174A-sensitive lactic acid bacteria.
