Research Abstract |
We established the model for schizophrenia and examined the antipsychotic actions of antioxidants. Administration of antioxidants for a week significantly ameliorated deficits of social interaction and prepulse inhibition of the schizophrenia model rats. These results suggest that antioxidants may be a new class of antipsychotic drugs for schizophrenia.
