Research Abstract |
In precancerous lesions, oncogenic signals induce cellular senescence, causing tumor suppression ; whereas they promote genomic instability, leading to tumor progression. We studied the role of DNA replicative stress in cyclin E over expressed U2OS human cells. Our data suggest that Y family Polymerases play a role in oncogene-induced DNA re-replication.
