Research Abstract

To clarify the precise differentiation pathway of megakaryocyte lineage from hematopoietic stem cell and the role of Notch signaling during megakaryocytopoiesis, we identified a new class of megakaryocyte progenitors in the adult mouse bone marrow and demonstrated the gene expression pattern (including Notch signal molecules).
