Research Abstract |
Using a fluid percussion device, we made severe traumatic brain injury model of rats. These rats were administrated mesenchymal stem cells via internal carotid artery. After then, we analyzed therapeutic effect behaviorally and immunohistochemically. Best therapeutic effect was obtained when we administrate MSC with mannitol by inducing blood brain barrier disruption. We are preparing for a manuscript for this study.
