| Research Abstract |
To elucidate the pathogenesis of swallowing disorders due to aging, we investigated theinfluence of sex hormones on the tongue and pharyngeal muscles using various mousemodels and immunohistochemical methods. There was no significant difference in theexpression of sex hormone receptors such as androgen and estrogen between youngand aged mouse groups.
