| Research Abstract |
We have shown that coagulation factors may be involved in the pathogenesisof excessive mucus secretion and nasal polyposis. Moreover, it was shown that mucus production and infiltration of inflammatory cells are attenuated by nasal administration of anticoagulant heparin in ratmodels of rhinitis.
