Research Abstract

Since it has been reported that sphingosinelphosphate(S1P) is related with bone resorption and bone formation, the effect of SIP on osteoblast gene expression was examined. We found that SIP activated the Wnt/betacatenin signaling pathway through PI3K/Akt pathway, and increased osteoprotegerin gene expression.
