| Research Abstract |
I have largely completed the chronology of kokkeibon(early modern Japanese comic novels) to provide a basis for kokkeibon research. Itconsists of two parts :"Kokkeibon Publishing Chronology(unfinished)"(Kyowa 2 to Meiji 23, approx. 360works), and "Kokkeibon Manuscript Chronology(unfinished)"(approx. 30 works). When creating the chronology, I have examined originals as well as photocopied or microfilmed records, based upon the data in "Union Catalogue of Early Japanese Books".
