Research Abstract |
When a firm goes bankrupt, what is the fair way of dividing its liquidation value among its creditors? Or when there are indivisible goods and people have preferences over those indivisible goods, how should we distribute them among those people? These are examples of "resource allocation problems." We analyze these problems by studying the implications of several axioms, i. e., in an axiomatic way.
