Summary of the Research Project	スピンデバイスの飛躍的な性能向上を目指し、新規14族の層状物質の探索から短チャネル化や歪等の先端半導体技術の導入、スピンデバイスの動作速度の支配因子の解明、実用化を見据えた回路技術の開発までを行う意欲的な研究である。
Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements	応募者のこれまでの優れた研究実績や幅広い知識に基づいた研究計画であり、スピンデバイスの高性能化や周辺回路技術の発展が見込めるだけでなく、スピンデバイスの学理の構築や新奇なスピン現象の発見も期待でき、技術的にも学術的にも意義のある研究である。
