Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Following the research schedule, the research model was reviewed by researchers during the conference presentation, which has helped confirm the research model. The initial data collection was conducted in collaboration with research collaborators in the U.S. and the research agency in Japan. While the findings are interesting and particularly, Japanese data supported the research model, the findings in the U.S. data did not align with the assumptions. On possible explanation of this unexpected result could be related to the challenge relevant to data collection in the U.S. The amount of data in the U.S. is lower compared to that in Japan. To address this discrepancy and ensure the validation of the data, more data collection will be undertaken in the U.S.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
This research project is progressing smoothly mainly due to the support of research collaborators based in the U.S. and my affiliated institution that support me to travel and join international conferences. Although obtaining a quality data set in the U.S. is an issue at the current stage of the research, I anticipate that I can successfully complete data collection with the close collaborations with researchers and their assistance.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Following the research plan, the data collection and analysis will be completed within this year. Data collection in the U.S. poses certain challenges due to the relatively low availability of information on appropriate research procedure and methods to obtain reliable survey data. However, I anticipate that with the assistance of research collaborators based in the U.S., I will gather more reliable and balanced data, comparable to the Japanese data set. Adding to the survey data, if suitable interviewees are identified in both countries, data collection at the company level or interviews will be conducted to corroborate the findings from the survey analysis. After confirming the results of survey data, the manuscript will be prepared for submission to an international journal specializing in the research topic.
|
Causes of Carryover |
This is mainly because of the reduction in the fee of data collection. This amount of research funds will be used in data collection during this year.
