Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Controlled formation of oxide nanoarchitectures by thermal and anodic oxidation was carried out. Formation of hybrid composites consisting of graphene-deposited titanium oxide nanowires for photocatalytic reduction of Cr(VI) under simulated sunlight irradiation has been reported.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
1: Research has progressed more than it was originally planned.
Reason
Parameters for controlled metal oxide nanoarchitectures using thermal and anodic oxidation are being investigated systematically. Electrophoretic deposition of graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide on thermally oxidized one-dimensional titanium oxide nanowires has been obtained and reported.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Further development toward improvement of photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic properties of the metal oxide composites for photoreduction of Cr(VI) will be carried out.
