Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
A necessary procedures was completed with the help of a collaboration partner, a FORWARD Nepal, and received an approval from the municipality office to conduct field survey in the study areas. Enumerators, the graduate students of Agriculture and Forestry University, Chitwan, Nepal were hired and oriented about the questionnaire and household survey. The household survey was completed during the last study trip to Nepal from February 29 to March 19, 2024 with the collaboration of FORWARD Nepal and Associate Professor Shanker Raj Barsila, Agriculture and Forestry University. Raw data is available to proceed for further perusal.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The field survey was delayed by six months due some other academic engagements of the researchers.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Data cleaning, and preliminary data analysis is the main planning for the future work. I am also planning a dissemination workshop in the study municipality involving the local government and relevant stakeholders. In the meantime, a paper will be developed for conference presentation and publication in an academic journal.

Causes of Carryover |
Delay in field survey implementation is the main reason for incurring amount to be used next fiscal year. Dissemination seminar in the study rural municipality is the activity plan I have for coming mid August. Besides, I have a plan to develop a paper, and attending the international conference. Hence, the usage plan involves dissemination seminar, conference attendance, and paper development.
