Outline of Final Research Achievements

Of the 1,008 Baum paintings collected, 730 were evaluated based on the agreement among at least three of the four clinical researchers, excluding the 278 paintings from individuals in the healthy control group. The expression characteristics and painting type classification of these 730 paintings were analysed in the following two ways.
The first study was an investigation by four clinical researchers examining the relationship between clinical data and Baum painting evaluation by them, and analysing the clinical meaning of Baum paintings. The second study was an analysis by an engineering researcher who evaluated Baum paintings using AI-based deep learning methods

表象系が投影されたバウム画像をＡＩによる深層学習により自動判定する方法を精緻化し、自動判定結果と臨床情報解析結果とを解析し、さらにその解析結果と人間によるバウム画評価と臨床情報の関係の解析結果とを総合することにより自動判定結果の意味づけを確かにし、技術化された方法を実用化して臨床に利用しやすいものとして提供し精神医学における診断の客観性を高め、また精神医学におけるＡＩの活用領域を広げるものである。
