Outline of Annual Research Achievements

北海道八雲町における地域在住高齢者に対する運動機能の評価を1997年に開始した。以後毎年継続的に調査研究を行ってきた。COVID－19による検診は2年間中断されて2022年から再開された。前年度同様にコロナ感染症対策を徹底した。
2023年の八雲町検診（町民ドック）は8月18日から20日までの3日間行われた。町民ドックの参加者は448名であった。コロナ感染症の前の年度と比べて約100名参加が少なかった。研究グループは整形外科、内科、耳鼻科、高次高機能評価、超音波検査、泌尿器科、疫学である。今回は眼科グループが不参加だった。
整形外科の検診は１）膝検診、2）腰検診、3）重心動揺検査、４）超音波骨密度検査、5）膝・腰レントゲン検査、6）健脚度（40ｃｍ踏み台昇降、最大歩幅、10ｍ歩行速度）、７）エルゴメーター、8）転倒手帳、9）QOL質問表、10）腰痛の意識調査、11)ロコモ検診ロコモ25・Two Step test、40ｃｍ立ち上がり（フレイル検診）を行った。
八雲町には2つのend pointの死亡と介護度の調査を依頼した。
すべての検診項目およびアンケートが死亡と介護の必要性についてどれ穂で関係しているかを学際的に研究する。各研究グループに危険因子の可能性がある検診項目のデータの提出を依頼した。

Reason

各科の膨大なデータは20年以上蓄積されている。2年間住民健診の実施なされなかったために各研究の危険因子の選択と抽出が遅れている。
住民健診を受けた個人の死亡と介護の必要性は八雲町に依頼している。解析にはさらに時間を要する見込みである。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2024年度の検診項目および8月の検診日はすでに決定している。
今年も例年同様各科の検診を集める。End pointの死亡と介護度も八雲町からのデータを得る。各研究グループから危険因子の抽出とその結果を依頼した。
検診後10年後および20年後における死亡と介護の危険因子を統計学的に抽出する予定である。

経費が予定より安価であった。来年度使用予定です。
