Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
2022 research achievements include a paper on Sanrio's Aggressive Retsuko. The paper is currently under review. I also planned to present on my work at AAS, however had to change plans due to the death of the panel chair. The panel became a memorial roundtable instead.
Data collection has been going well, with articles, books, and videos about anger collected. Enthnographic work has taken more time, but I have begun collecting detailed notes of ethnographic encounters and considering how they fit into the current situation in Japan. This year I plan to continue with interviews and further ethnography.
