Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, a web page editor was developed that can instantly convert between visual blocks and HTML text, along with a programming tool that can instantly convert between JavaScript and Python. The web page editor has a function to automatically load images, which had not been implemented in previous tools, and its usefulness was confirmed in a class for junior high school students. The programming tool enables students to learn different languages while being aware of differences in grammar, and its usefulness was confirmed in a class for high school students.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究の意義は、ウェブページエディタによって直感的にWebページを作成する能力を、プログラミングツールによって異なるプログラミング言語の特徴を理解する力を生徒に提供する点である。プログラミングツールに関しては、生徒がプログラミング言語の仕組みに興味を持ち、将来的に新しいプログラミング言語の設計や開発に挑戦する意欲を刺激する点にも意義が見出される。これらの点は、生徒の全体的な情報リテラシー向上に寄与するものである。
