Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Supersaturated Al(Fe) and Al(Si) solid solutions with a single phase have been electrodeposited in chloroaluminate ionic liquids. The thermal decomposition of Al(Fe) and Al(Si) deposits could be suppressed above 200 ℃. And the Al(Fe) deposits demonstrate simultaneous improvements in mechanical and anti-corrosion properties.
