Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During this research cycle, we completed structural characterization of the microbubble resonator using focused ion beam and scanning electron microscopy to model dispersion. A theoretical model based on the optical waveguide approximation has been proposed to describe the WGMs in the thin-walled microbubble cavity.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Since the wall thickness of the microbubble resonator is non-uniform along the cavity axis, its dispersion is related to the coupling position of the pump light. During this research cycle, we completed structural characterization of the microbubble resonator using focused ion beam and scanning electron microscopy to model dispersion, but this delayed the achievement of the project goals.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Subsequent research efforts will focus on the blue-band soliton comb generation, including the construction of optical frequency comb system and the manipulation of optical frequency combs.
|
Causes of Carryover |
In the following research, it is necessary to pay the cost of raw materials for the fabrication of the microbubble resonators, paper publication fees, and travel expenses.
