Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In FY 2023, I focus on the charactering the catalytic effect of topological defects of graphene mesosponge (GMS) on Li-O2 batteries. Differential electrochemical mass spectrometry provides real-time information on gas consumption and generation during discharge and charge. Density functional theory calculations help to understand the reaction processes at the topological defects. Finally, the excellent performance of Li-O2 batteries based on GMS powder and free-standing GMS-sheet was achieved. In summary, I have published four papers as first author/corresponding author in high-impact journals. I have also applied for two international patents. Besides,I have also joined in five international and three domestic conferences/symposia, including a keynote talk at Carbon2022 in London.
