Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In lithium metal anode solid-state batteries, blast processing of the solid electrolyte surface prevents internal short circuits during fast charging and enhances charging speed. This processing method is low-cost and more suitable for mass production compared to existing techniques. This study elucidates the mechanism behind the fast charging enabled by blast processing, revealing that improvements in interface durability and contact are crucial. The findings suggest that optimal processing conditions can lead to further performance enhancements. The results of this research have been published in one international paper and presented at nine international and domestic conferences.
