精神障害での睡眠異常の治療による時計遺伝子の末梢血遺伝子発現との相関

時計遺伝子と精神疾患との関連を調べるために、まずは私の所属する愛媛大学医学部附属病院精神科の外来患者の睡眠状況について調査を行い、その結果をA survey of sleep disturbance in an outpatient clinic at the psychiatry department of a university hospitalにまとめて投稿中である。睡眠障害を合併しやすい発達障害の患者の血液の遺伝子発現解析を行い、その一部はMiR-15b-5p Expression in the Peripheral Blood: A Potential Diagnostic Biomarker of Autism Spectrum Disorderで報告した。また認知症の睡眠障害に関しても調査を行い、Analysis of factors related to cognitive impairment in a community-based, complete enumeration survey in Japan: the Nakayama studyに報告した。時計遺伝子の解析自体はサンプル数が少ないために施行できなかったが、今後も精神疾患患者の睡眠のデータを収集して時計遺伝子の解析につなげたいと考えている。特に私の教室は発達障害と認知症の患者が多く集まるため、この二つの疾患に注力したいと考えている。
