Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The objective of this study was to develop novel CAD/CAM block with mechanical properties similar to natural teeth and superior bonding properties. The block was prepared by drying and sintering zirconia slurry and infiltration of resin. The mechanical, physicochemical, and bonding properties of the prepared block was investigated. The results showed that the elastic modulus and Vickers hardness of the block was comparable to those of human enamel. The novel block also showed high bond strength to MMA-based resin cement combined with a MDP-contained primer.
