Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on interviews through questionnaires and field surveys, this study was able to obtain information from 62 disaster prevention learning facilities nationwide. In summary, it was found that disaster prevention learning facilities have only recovered to an average of 70% of the number of visitors, a substantial KPI, after the Corona disaster, and that 70% of all facilities cite “aging facilities or insufficient operating costs” as an issue. While each facility is doing its utmost to increase the number of visitors and maintain its facilities, there is little outside knowledge or information about other facilities. In order to improve this situation, networking among facilities is required, but it was also revealed that there is a big difference in the necessity of such networking between those facilities that have already established such a network and those that have not.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
