Outline of Final Research Achievements |
It is difficult to perform 3D measurement of large infrastructures with high density at high-speed using existing measurement systems such as total station theodolite or LiDAR. These measurement systems require an operation to measure the shift in position and orientation of the measurement systems each time when the measurement systems change their positions and orientation. This study proposed a new 3D measurement system of large infrastructures based on the structured light method using ring laser and wide field-of-view camera with high accuracy and high density. This study also proposed a registration method of multiple 3D measurement results at different locations using image processing technique. Effectiveness of the proposed method was verified through experiments.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究では,大型構造物を対象とし,全天球カメラと全周レーザを用いた光切断法を新規に構築することによって広範囲計測・高精度計測を実現すると同時に,画像処理技術によって追加の機器を用いずに複数断面の計測結果を自動統合する手法を新規に構築した.本研究は,大型構造物の内部形状を広範囲・高精度・高密度に測量するという斬新な枠組みを新規に提案するものであり,学術的な新規性と理論的な発展が大きい.加えて,施工・維持管理時の3次元測量データ生成・活用・管理の効率化といった社会的な成果と,これまでにない新理論を提案する点において挑戦的研究としての学術的な進展の両者を兼ね備えた内容である.
